Covid today announced their expansion with the addition of a second
warehouse, almost doubling the amount in the previous facility. The
new warehouse, less than a mile from operation headquarters, will
accommodate an increasing inventory, expanded order fulfillment and
shipping functions for the company.
"We consider ourselves
extremely lucky to find a suitable warehouse near our production and
operations headquarters," said Norm Carson, Covid’s President. "With
all that the new facility offers — extra space for bulk cable
storage and our new wall plate and panel production — we're
positioned to serve more and more clients in the United States and
around the globe."
The Arizona-based cable
manufacturer’s national reputation continues to grow at a time when
many cable manufacturers are cutting back on clients and services.
Covid’s reported 40% growth over the previous fiscal year
represented the company’s most geographically diverse, by expanding
distribution to Canada and Europe.
Structural renovations
have begun, and the first shipments are scheduled to move there in
during the month of August. "The new warehouse space not only means
more cable and better selection for our clients, but also improved
efficiencies to get our cable products into our customers' hands as
quickly as possible," said Norm Carson.
"More and more people
are looking to Covid to fulfill their wire and cable needs, because
of our focus on customer service and making sure every cable is
tested prior to leaving our facility," explained Dave Misencik,
East Coast Account Manager. "Customers like our selection and our
prices, but I think what really wins them over is our personal
touch. Call our sales department and you speak to a human being
immediately. Need a special bulk or terminated cable, we can
usually fulfill that request over the phone in a matter of minutes.
Those little things add up." |
